Sources and licenses

Delay board reads open data that rail operators and public agencies publish. Each source measures delay in its own way and carries its own license; the board credits every one of them.

  2. OVapi

    Netherlands · Unofficial

OVapi republishes the realtime data of every Dutch train as one GTFS-RT feed, rebuilt every minute, with a timetable released about daily. OVapi is a community service, not run by NS or the other operators.

  3. DB Timetables

    Germany

Deutsche Bahn’s Timetables API lists planned and changed times station by station. Delay board reads 133 hub stations in turn, each about every 3 minutes; together they see every DB long-distance train at least once in each hour it stops in Germany.

  4. opentransportdata.swiss

    Switzerland

One GTFS-RT feed carries delays for every Swiss operator that delivers realtime data, read every 2 minutes. Each trip is matched to the static timetable, which gives its operator, line and scheduled times.
